After Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Munich and Vienna, the “Ruby Hotel” now welcomes guests in London.
The German chain “Ruby Hotels” – unimpressed by the threat of brexite – has taken the plunge across the English Channel and opened its newest hotel, “Ruby Lucy”, within walking distance of the busy Waterloo Station. On the dark ground floor, the hotel pays tribute to its creative neighbourhood and the colourful world of the fairs that have shaped the streets around Waterloo with circus drums, boat swings and vintage furniture thrown together. The 75 guest rooms, on the other hand, are flooded with light and furnished in a decidedly contemporary style. The brand thus remains true to its “LeanLuxury” philosophy of offering 5-star luxury at affordable prices, even in London.
A second hotel in the British capital is already being planned and is expected to open in 2022. In total, the German hotel group plans to open eleven new hotels by 2023, including in Helsinki, Frankfurt and Shanghai.
