Gay monarchs, hot saunas and topless parties: In this episode of VIENNA/NOW everything revolves around the gay and lesbian community in Vienna. Andreas Brunner from QWIEN – Center for Gay/Lesbian Culture and History takes Adia on a city tour through the gay and lesbian culture of Vienna. They visit a bookstore for gays and lesbians. They go to the Kaiserbründl, the bath where Emperor Franz Joseph’s gay brother was slapped by a soldier. Later, Adia and the drag queen Tamara celebrate mascara at the Rosa Wiener Wiesn, the gay version of the Oktoberfest. Afterwards it’s time for “Imperial Madness” and a hot Boylesque show. Cheers!
